"In December of 2003, my son who is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, was deployed to Iraq. This deployment ended up lasting for 8 months of him being away from his wife and young daughter. In April of 2004, his wife who is also in the Army, was sent from their home in Germany to El Paso, Texas for a 2 month training exercise. During this time I was named primary care giver for my 16 month old granddaughter, Alexandria. Alexandria would have to live the next 2 months without the familiar surroundings of her home and both of her parents.
The "Mommy I Can't Sleep" CD was a life saver for us. It's soothing nature and animal sounds relaxed Alex and allowed her to sleep night after night. Alex is back in Germany with both of her parents at home. She still goes to sleep each night relaxed by this little miracle.
